Kolo Habib Touré today signed on the dotted line for the Super Blues. The 28-year old Ivorian penned a 4-year contract with City agreeing to pay the Gooners around £14m.The versitile central defender renowned for his pace, athleticism, strength and will to win is a welcome addition to the City rear guard.
Joleon Lescott is expected to be the next defender through the blue door. City today increased their offer with the understanding that Joleon will submit a transfer request and therefore weaken Moyes' position and so expedite the transfer. As we've previously intimated, this deal is sure to happen though hurdles do remain. PR for the Toffees in terms of the loss of a key player is key to this deal.
The Terry saga will soon be a distant memory.

yeh top signing, now all we need is lescott to complete the jigsaw. should give 30 mill to them scouse bastards if that what its takes, and fuck off neville you red c*nt were only doing what the scum have been doing for years.. hypocrites.
QUESTION TO YOU TWITTY: who would you spend your 80 mill on? Ronaldo(SCUM DIVING CHEAT) or BARRY,SANTA CRUZ, TEVES, ADEBAYOR AND TOURE. Fed up of all these people forgetting whats gone on in the past(chelsea)and blaming the apparent downfall of english football on CITY. As I said before HYPOCRITES.
Have to disagree, wouldn't give Everton more than £20m. Even at that Lescott is well overpriced. Think we should move on this weekend if Everton don't accept or the player doesn't hand in a transfer request.
Wouldn't want Tranaldo, more than happy with Baz, Santa, Tev, Ade & Kolo. Loving the fact that the papers, the managers and rival fans are spouting such sh*t about us ruining footy. They need to lighten up. It's just entertainment, not a matter of life & death.
