The transfer window closed today on what has been a momentous summer of signings for Man City. The team has been remarkably transformed, and surely so will our fortunes. Loaned Out: Bojinov (Parma), Caicedo (Sporting Lisbon), Etuhu (Cardiff City), Hart (Birmingham City), Jo (Everton), Logan (Tranmere Rovers).
Outs: Ben Haim (Portsmouth), Dunne (Villa), Elano (Galatasaray), Evans (Sheffield Utd) Fernandes (St. Etienne), Schmeichel (Notts County).
That leaves one shit-hot squad:
Keeper: Given, Taylor.
Defenders: Bridge, Garrido, Richards, Zab, Toure, Lescott, Onuoha, Sylvinho.
Midfielders: Barry, De Jong, Ireland, Johnson, Kompany, Petrov, Weiss, SWP.
Forwards: Adebayor, Robinho, Tevez, RSC, Benjani, Bellamy.
ManTwitty believes this squad is gonna do somefink special this season. We have nothing to fear except fear itself. Man Yoo are seriously weakened, losing their best player to us and their second best to Real Madrid. Liverpool have lost their play maker, their defence is slow and their bench looks average at best. Although Arsenal have started the season playing some great stuff, you have to question if they have the necessary strength in depth. Chelsea would appear to be the team to topple and favourites for the title. They have desire, strength, skill and experience in abundance. If City finish above the Chavs then surely the title will be ours.
